Speech Therapy For Children

  • Age: 18 months - 4 years

    Duration: 60 minutes

A screener is completed for mild speech and language concerns such as pronunciation or articulation difficulties. It is used to determine if a child is 'on track' for their developmental stage and age group.

A screener may also be helpful for parents who would like some peace of mind that their child is progressing appropriately.

    • Screening of receptive and expressive language, a child's ability to understand and use language.

    • Screening for age appropriate speech, the ability to articulate speech sounds and be understood by others.

    • Screening for age appropriate social skills and play skills.

Feedback and recommendations at end of session.

    €150

Summary report and recommendations: Additional €100

  • Clinical guidelines for diagnosing Autism emphasise the importance of a multi-disciplinary team approach. If your child can be assessed by a co-ordinated team in your local area which includes a Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) then this would be the preferred best practice approach.

However there are times when there is limited or even no access to SLT to form part of your child’s diagnosis. In these situations it is possible for Stephanie to contribute to your child’s diagnostic assessment through administration of The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and formal Speech and Language assessment.

Please contact Stephanie for further information on Autism assessment.
